In the venetian language, "Sorèa" means "Sister".
This room was my sister's room growing up and is named after her.
Sorèa Room is a large spacious room (25.5 sq m / 275 sq ft) has two tall windows that overlook a quiet private Venetian courtyard. The room features a Double Queen antique wood bed, with 12 foot Venetian fresco painted ceiling, original Venetian Terrazzo Floor, antique desk and dresser along with an armoire. Free WiFi is available in the room. The private non-shared bathroom outside the room features a walk-in shower, sink, cabinet, WC, and bidet as well as a radiator heater for winter months. Fresh towels and trash removal every two days or on request.
A home away from home
Our home is located in a 480 year old Venetian palazzo, and has been in our family since 1872. In 2000, I converted my family home into to our bed and breakfast to share a part of my Venice with you.
The Italian breakfast
The typical North Italian breakfast at home (prima colazione) consists of coffee with bread or rolls, butter and jam. We would like to share with you this home Italian experience.
In every house is the moka pot, where we make the coffee on the stove, along with that, we serve a delicious croissant and roll, butter and jam to accompany it. If coffee is not your cup-of-tea, we offer tea as well! Of course, we offer other non-traditional items such as yogurt, fruit, fruit juice, spreadable cheese and don't forget... nutella! We can also provide gluten-free items on advanced request.
