Beware of Vaporetto Ticket Scammers There is a man claiming to be selling tickets to the vaporetto targeting tourists who appears as if he has a uniform and a badge and directing tourists which boat to take. He does not have real tickets. He is a scammer. Only buy tickets from the ACTV ticket kiosk with an attendant inside, or from the automated machines next to the ticket kiosk, or onboard the vaporetto from the mariner manning the rope and boat door.
